Fit4funding is offering their innovative online course ‘Advising Groups on Funding Issues’
Starting on Monday 21 May 2012 (ends 9th July 2012)
The Maze is down-sizing and closing its offices at 28a High Street, Arnold. They are having a ‘sale’ of items such as desks, shredder, chairs, photocopier, stationery items, etc on Friday 11 May 2012 from 10 00am until 2 00pm. They are inviting local community groups to go along to the sale and help them dispose of their unwanted items.
Gedling CVS in partnership with the Nottinghamshire Focus on Funding project is holding a Funding Surgery on Friday 4th May, from 10 am to 4 pm. This surgery is open to any voluntary or community group in Nottinghamshire, who need help to secure funding for example a play group, historical society, football team or village hall.
The next meeting of the Gedling Volunteering Forum will take place on Wednesday next week, 11th April, at Carlton Fire Station. The main topic will be a taster session on “Volunteers and the Law” will be facilitated by Dave Thomas, the Volunteering Development Worker at Gedling CVS.
Employment Advice Manager, Andrew Monroe, at CA Plus is delivering a series of 2 workshops on commonly requested employment subjects, these will be hosted in partnership with local support groups throughout the City and County of Nottingham.
