Membership of Gedling CVS comes at 2 levels: full and associate membership. Membership is open to community groups or voluntary organisations, local businesses or supportive individuals from Gedling Borough area. It is from these groups that Gedling CVS Trustees are nominated.
Full membership is open to:
- Voluntary or community groups based within Gedling Borough.
- Individuals over the age of 18 living or working in the Borough of Gedling who support the aims and values of the organisation.
- Local businesses based in the Borough of Gedling who support the aims and values of the orgnisation.
Full membership entitles you to:
- A free quarterly copy of Community Eye.
- Reduced fees to training events.
- Free access to information events.
- Free access to a monthly e-bulletin information service.
- An invitation to have a voice in voluntary sector consultations.
- Nominate Trustees for the Executive Committee.
- Have a vote on matters relating to the governance of Gedling CVS.
- Apply to the CVS Initiative Fund.
Associate Membership is open to:
- Voluntary or community groups not based in the Borough of Gedling but which support the aims and values of the organisation.
- Individuals under the agre of 18 living or working in the Borough of Gedling and who support the aims and values of the organistion.
- Statutory/Public agencies based or delivering services in the Borough of Gedling and which support the aims and values of the organisation.
Associate Membership entitles you to:
- A quarterly copy of Community Eye, plus additional copies if required, at cost.
- Access to training and information events at cost (under 18′s free)
