We can help groups to explore all kinds of funding options, from fundraising, applying for grants and trusts through to trading and can offer some practical help with the following:
- help in completing funding application forms
- finding out about funding sources
- directories of grant making trusts available for reference
We have a small pot of money call the “New Inititatives Fund” which can be applied for new initiatives. Contact us for more information about the application criteria and procedures.
If you are wanting to raise money for your group – remember don’t leave it until the last minute. It can take months to find the right source of funding and make a successful application.
Funderfinder – is a computer package designed to help not-for-profit organisations get charitable money by quickly and comprehensively searching through published directories and periodicals. To make an appointment to use Funderfinder please telephone Gedling CVS or email info@gedlingcvs.org.uk.
Community Eye and GCVS e-bulletin – contains regular information on funding sources, both local and national.
