Funding Advice Work
We can help groups to explore all kinds of funding options, from fundraising, applying for grants and trusts through to trading and can offer some practical help with the following:
  • get help in completing funding application forms
  • find out about funding sources
  • use Funderfinder
  • use directories of grant making trusts

We have a small pot of money called the "New Initiatives Fund" for - new initiatives.  Contact us for more information about application criteria and procedures.

We're also keen to help groups think about the true costs of running their services before they start applying for any money.

If you are wanting to raise money for your group - remember don't leave it until the last minute.  It can take months to find the right source of funding and make a successful application.

Funderfinder
Funderfinder is a computer package designed to help not-for-profit organisations get charitable money by quickly and comprehensively searching through published directories and periodicals. To make an appointment to use Funderfinder please ring 0115 926 6750 or email admin@gedlingcvs.org.uk

Newsletter
Community Eye contains regular information on funding sources, both local and national (see Information services).
