Community Eye is a bi-monthly newsletter that is distributed to all members of GCVS (see
Membership). It contains voluntary sector news, resources, training and events diaries, funding sources and information on local groups. We welcome articles and contributions from local groups,
especially good news!

Voluntary sector mailings
We frequently mail information to voluntary and community groups across the County. These mailings can be used for organisations to distribute their own flyers or leaflets. Charges are available on request.
Resource library
The library is currently under re-development. We
have additional shelving and the help of a volunteer to two to help
re-organise the information. The library contains a range of
reports, magazines, toolkits and books which are address issues such as
running a community group, improving your performance, monitoring and
evaluation and developing diversity.

Database of voluntary organisations
Need contact details for a particular organisation? Want to know what groups exist in a particular area? GCVS maintains a database of voluntary and community groups active in Gedling. To help us keep the database up to date we need your information. If you are a new organisation,
let us know and we’ll send you a registration form so you can be added
to the database. See the
membership section for more
information.
Meeting spaces
We don't have our own meeting space and rely heavily
on local village and community halls when we organise our events. If
you need a venue for your meeting we can search our list for a space that
meets your needs.
